Thank you for your kind words about our product and our servers. The sign on the door came about 3 years ago when a customer was seated at the back of the restaurant and his handgun fell from his holster and hit the hardwood floor. We had recruits and parents from APSU eating in our dining are, about 30 of them, and word quickly spread of the incident. We chose to put the sign up and have really only had 3 people, including yourself, ask us about the policy. One was extremely demonstrative of his objections in our lobby. He was playing to our customers and has not returned. Sorry that we lost his business but we are not able to please everyone even though that is our objective. You are correct, our sign will not deter the trouble makers or the good people that have gun permits. We will talk about this in the very near future. Thanks for your comment...oh, by the way, the gentleman that dropped his gun... was a detective with CPD.

My wife and I had dinner 26 Jan. The food was excellent and the service was good as well. I was disappointed in the no weapons sign on the door. I understand as a buisness owner you have every right to post it, and law abiding citizens like myself will obey the law. It will not however deter the very trouble makers that most people worry about. I would only ask that you consider a change of position. Again food excellent and friendly staff. All in all a great place to eat.

We have been to Edwards several times. We attend the Songwriters Showcase every month and we have never left disappointed. Needless to say, we have never left hungry either. This is the ONLY place that I will eat a steak. It is always cooked to perfection! Ms. Linda is the sweetest lady who ensures that our visit is pleasant each time. We will continue to frequent Edwards!

Tonight myself and a few of my fellow coworkers enjoyed a meal at Edward's Steakhouse, and I have to admit that it was indeed one of the finest establishments that I've been to recently that was so reasonably priced. The food was stupendous, and the service by out waitress, Bailey, was top notch, (From Recommendations on specials and her Favorite Foods to her well mannered and attentive service. Everything from the Southern Sweet Tea, to the Rib-Eye Steak was outstanding, and to top it off was a Rich Carrot Cake that went perfectly with the meal's pallet. Overall we were all extremely satisfied, and I would like to recommend Edward's Steakhouse to all those in the surrounding area. Truly 5 Stars all around.

Hello, I'm writing from the APSU Department of Theatre and Dance. I am contacting many businesses in the Franklin Street area to see if any would be willing to help our department advertise our upcoming productions. We are asking if businesses would be willing to hang a poster of our production somewhere in your establishment. If this is something you'd be interested in, please let me know at email@example.com. Thank you for your time.

As a strict vegan I have never understand how anyone can enjoy dining in an establishment that serves bloody red meat...until now! Edwards steakhouse is amazing. the service is outstanding and the food is life changing. While my wife was urinating in the bathroom, I found myself drawn to the steak that sat in front of me on her plate. It was sheps sirlion and it looked delicious. As soon as the server put it down on the table, I couldn't take my eyes off of it. The aroma was intoxicating and the steak just seemed to cry out to me. "Eat me!" It said. Wow. I had never heard a steak talk to me before. My salad, although very good looking, didn't say a word. But the Shep sirlion, it got my attention. "Eat me"! "Eat me"! So for first time in my adult life I succumbed to the fleshy temptation before me. My life has never been the same. I could not believed how good that bite of steak was. Life changing. I will forever be indebted to edwards steakhouse for opening my eyes. Thank you.

hi, I currently am in afghanistan and was looking to get tickets for my wife and son to the christmas carol play. They offered a meal pkg but i honestly don't know that would be enough or if there would be something else they would prefer. Can you please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and let me know if there is any other option. p.s. our son is 8 y/o but has a hearty appetite, lol. Thanks for your time.

I will admit that the service at Edward' has not always been adequate, however, during our visit this past Saturday evening our server was EXCEPTIONAL, which added so much to our overall dining experience. Thank you so much to MARIAN. You set the high water mark for all other wait staff.

We had a great time tonight. The entire experience was great. The food was excellent and if it was the waitress' second day on the job, we would never have known if she had not told us.The service was outstanding. We could not have asked for a nicer evening. We will try and make every effort to visit again and we will recommend Edward's to all of our friends.

My daughter and I dined at Edward's last night. The steak and all that came with it was excellent. I wish I could say the same for the service. We NEVER was given a refill of ANY drinks on the table water, tea, beer. He never took away our appetizer, salad, dishes, so we had to manuver around everything on the table. He never brought out rolls for us or anything. When I go to a higher end restraunt I expect the higher end service for the price that I am paying.

We apologize for your unfortunate delay's last evening but we were notified about 45 minutes prior to opening our bartender was sick and unable to work. Luckily we have two bartenders and the other was to be on duty on the floor serving tables, which she did along with her bartending duties. We feel that we can give great service and great food but this was a time when we failed in the service area. Please call us and we will promise to do our best and not let this happen again.

Went to the Songwriters Night last night for my first visit there.
First, the BAD: I have never seen a place so unprepared for a crowd for a scheduled event. I had heard horror stories about the service there when it was busy & wow, was is confirmed. It only took 45 min to get a first drink (and then we realized we'd better order another right then to ensure we didn't have nothing to drink at all). It also took over 1/2hr to get a water refill, so I doubled up water glasses so I wouldn't be left empty. How they could be so understaffed with a scheduled event like that was just appalling. The performers requested another drink toward the end of their show and had to wait over 1/2hr to get it. I've never experienced anything like it in a place so small. How their bartender is employed is a mystery to me.
The GOOD: atmosphere was nice & romantic, the music/show was fantastic w/the sound at a perfect level, server was very apologetic about the waits (could see him roaming around, so know he was trying)& the steak was fantastic. The portion was huge & even had some leftover to take home. Serve time for the food was great & I was glad my girlfriend didn't take my bet, since I would have lost.
So, if you're looking for a great steak it's a fantastic choice. Although I have complained a bunch (if there's one thing i don't like in a restaurant is being thirsty), I will still give them a 2nd chance, since the food was that good. I know it was a special event night, but so did they and they didn't plan/staff accordingly. So if it's busy.. good luck!

My husband and I went visited Edward's tonight, and we LOVED it! We have nothing but good things to say. The staff is super inviting and friendly from the time you walk in the door. Our server's name was Marian, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was very helpful and upbeat. The atmosphere is very nice. And the piano player is a lovely touch. We started off with the spinach artichoke dip....it was soo good! Then my husband had the sirloin steak, and I had the crab cakes and garlic mashed potatoes. And we ended with the chocolate molten lava cakes. Yumm :) All of our food was delicious!! This was our first visit, and we were very impressed! We will definitely be back for date night! Try Edwards, you won't be disappointed! :-)
